Save as PDF When converting a Word doc to PDF the images appear to be blurred when imported to Adobe Acrobat. This has been reported to Adobe Acrobat and is an issue specific to the PDF viewer as it has not been fixed. How to fix this: There's an option under the Print→General Menu, Print to PDF which changes the default settings to optimize for your display. Go to PDF Viewer→ Options and change the setting: ‹Optimize for› — This fixes the Blurred images' problem when converting Word documents to PDF, or when converting Word to PDFs as PDF file. I had the same blurring issues with converting one of my documents to PDF. This article shows a solution. When the user clicks “Convert” the PDF file looks the best on my computer when I tried to save it as PDF. It appears as a full-sized PDF file, it's really hard to discern what's inside. If you use Google Chrome for browsing this is a major problem. The solution: Click “Save as” to save the file, it will ask you to uncheck the “Optimize for:” option. To make sure that this doesn't work on other browsers, Google has released a Chrome plug-in: Convert PDF to Word (Chrome). For those with problems when saving a DOC to PDF: Try to open a document in Word before opening it to PDF. Click File→Options› (the drop-down menu above the File menu). In Word→Change Ribbon → Open as… , choose Save as PDF (or other format) From the “Save as…” menu choose “Create a Text Document” or something like that. This fixes the problem. However, make sure to check “Recycle Bin” under “Save for Web...”. The problem is most common when exporting to Google Docs, or other open document formats. The problem only looks like this when saving in “Adobe Creative Cloud”.
