If you are on a PC, to use these features you need a Microsoft Office software, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader. And if you're on a MAC, Adobe Reader is probably the best alternative for any kind of editing. If you want to convert a DOCX and save as .doc, you'll need Windows Document Linker if you don't have it  So my advice is, download this tool and try it out. It will help you convert more quickly and easily. It's free and has many features. You can download it for free here: Download Document Linker (This is a trial version, and they always ask you to subscribe if you've tried the trial version). Also, if you know Adobe Acrobat Reader you're able to download a free trial version of Adobe Acrobat Reader for Microsoft Windows here. It's very good so download this one.
