No pictures in any PDF version of Word Aug 31, 2023 — A reader suggests using the save as PDF method for Word. He found that when you save as PDF, you don't get pictures. My document has no pictures July 23, 2023 — Thanks to a tip from a reader, we now know that the 'Save as PDF' option in Word also hides some parts of the document with images. I had no images in my presentation before I saved it as a PDF. But when you save as PDF, only one page of my presentation is saved, which doesn't have any text, no images, etc. And then, it disappeared! Aug 24 2023 — I've heard of some people being able to save only their slides, and then edit the presentation later. The presentation was no different with me. Only the slides and some part of the presentation were saved. How to import images from Word to PowerPoint This step is not required in Word 2023 version, but works in Word 2023 or higher. Note: The process is more difficult if you are doing a simple page layout. Make sure you have the latest version of PowerPoint installed on your computer. Go to PowerPoint > Files > Viewer. In the dropdown, select Open or save a file as .PPTX. Select the Word document you wish to convert. Make sure you know where it's saved for this to work correctly: This file is usually saved in a folder and named something like “Word 2007”, “Word 2008,” or similar. Make sure you have the latest version of PowerPoint installed on your computer. Go to PowerPoint > Settings (or click Menu, Control Panel), click Programs, and open PowerPoint Preferences. In the File dialog box, click Options. Click Advanced for file properties. In the Format box, at least, select Word (.PPTX) from the Save As dropdown.
