The file appears to be the PowerPoint file, but with a file extension of .ppt (Windows Print) If you are sure that it is the .ppt file, then you may be able to re-write it to the PDF format to fix the problem. You should now be able to open and create a PowerPoint file using PowerPoint. If it is the .ppt file then it may still be possible using the previous method or the new technique.
